Douglas Kemp is the Hess GoM Mechanical Integrity Advisor, responsible for the development and execution of the GoM Topside Integrity Management Program.
Douglas has worked in the oil and gas industry for 23 years and has 17 years experience of risk based integrity management for offshore oil and gas pressure systems and structures.
Douglas is a Naval Architect graduate from Newcastle upon Tyne University, and has experience of offshore oil and gas facility design, construction and operations having worked for Harland and wolf SHI, Lloyds register integrity management services and Wood group before moving to the Hess corporation.
Douglas has been involved in several life extension projects under differing regulatory regimes for both FPSO,s and Compliant Towers in the UK North Sea, West Africa and GoM. This experience has helped develop the Hess life extension model for our aging offshore oil and gas production facilities.
