Diptabhas Sarkar in an accomplished energy sector professional with deep knowledge in driving full value chain profitability for upstream oil and gas assets. He is currently a Leading Engineer in the Operations Technology Excellence group focusing on Equinor’s field of the future initiatives. Prior to this he served as the planning manager in the US Onshore division and as the field development planner for their Marcellus asset. Diptabhas began his career with Halliburton in various technology development, operations and planning roles. Diptabhas holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry from Columbia University, New York and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
