Mr. Fletcher is currently the Chief of the Production Operations Support Section for the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Region, U.S. Department of the Interior, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Fletcher is the lead for BSEE on advances in Subsea Leak Detection. Other responsibilities include verifying production system engineering decisions throughout the BSEE districts are consistent, source control and containment plans reviews, and sustained casing pressure reviews.
Mr. Fletcher began his career with BSEE in 2010 as a Petroleum Engineer in the Gulf of Mexico Pipeline Section. In 2012, Mr. Fletcher began serving as the Production Engineering Coordinator within the District Operations Support section. In 2019, Mr. Fletcher was selected as the Chief of the Production Operations Support Section. Mr. Fletcher graduated with a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans in May 2010.
