Since early the 2000s Hess has had to address the requirement for life extension of multiple facilities across varying regulatory regimes. These experiences have resulted in the evolution of Hess’s approach to Life Extension by leveraging learning's from each field and regulatory interaction. This has forced us to develop a philosophy and strategy that is centered around risked based management process and the use of data to justify the continued operation of an asset beyond its original design life.
