Matthew Stewart is a Production Engineer at Talos Low Carbon Solutions (TLCS – Talos Energy). He works on the Class VI permitting efforts and leads the Testing & Monitoring programs for their broader CCS portfolio including Harvest Bend, Coastal Bend, and Bayou Bend. In addition to his TLCS responsibilities, he’s an integral part of the team that works to accurately track and reduce GHG emissions within their upstream operations.

Matthew graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. He started his career at P2 Energy Solutions and joined Talos Energy in 2018 as an Offshore Operations Engineer. In this role, he worked a rotational schedule with the goal of optimizing and increasing production. He transitioned to the Carbon Capture team in 2021 and has worked all of the various TLCS carbon capture projects since their inception.
