Pieter van den Eijnde is Lead Engineer at COSCO Shipping Heavy Transport, bringing 14 years of experience in the engineering and execution of complex heavy marine transportation projects. Throughout his career, he has worked as both Project Engineer and Technical Lead, with responsibility for ensuring that projects are thoroughly engineered, prepared, and successfully executed.
In his current role, Pieter serves as a key interface between clients, engineering teams, and marine operations, translating project requirements into practical and safe transport solutions. He has led the engineering and preparation of major offshore transportation projects including the Appomattox hull, King’s Quay FPU, Shenandoah FPU, West White Rose topsides, and Trion FPU (ongoing).
His experience also includes large-scale onshore modularization projects and the transportation of offshore wind jacket foundations, giving him a broad background across offshore energy and heavy marine transport. Pieter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture.
