Ryan O’Connor is the Project General Manager for bp’s Tiber project, bp’s second new Paleogene development in the Gulf of America. He is responsible for providing overall leadership to ensure the safe, predictable, and cost-effective delivery of the project. Before joining Tiber, Ryan held several leadership positions on bp’s Mad Dog 2 project (Argos), from early development through successful start-up. He brings 25 years of energy industry experience, with a primary focus on deepwater projects and operations. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
