Tom is the Vice President of Capital Projects for Chevron, a position he assumed in April 2024.In this role, he oversees the systems, processes, tools and organizational capability that builds, develops and deploys world scale energy projects.

Tom began his Chevron career in 1994 when he joined Chevron Canada as a design and construction engineer in Calgary. He has since held numerous project and leadership positions in Angola, Nigeria, China, Australia, Kazakhstan and the United States during his Chevron career.

Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Calgary and a master’s degree in leadership and management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Tom and his wife, Tracy, have two daughters, Ocean and Azura. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and riding motorcycles.
