Mark Alexander, P.E. is the Lifting & Hoisting Discipline Lead for Shell’s Gulf of America Deepwater organization. He has over 20 years of offshore engineering, construction, and operations experience, with a focus on crane systems, lifting assurance, and structural integrity. In his current role, Mark is the custodian for Shell’s lifting and hoisting program, which ranges design, execution, and maintenance requirements across 11 facilities.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
