Edmund Hugo Lunde is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Arion Blue LLC, a privately held Engineering company in Houston, Texas. Mr. Lunde formed Arion in 2018, following a long and successful tenure with Wood Group, a FTSE 100 energy services company headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. Mr. Lunde has served on the boards of several Private Equity portfolio companies most recently Apply AS in Stavanger, Norway, Emtunga AB in Gothenburg Sweden, Leirvik AS in Stord, Norway, and Axon Energy Products in Houston, Texas. Previously Mr. Lunde was chairman of the board for WGM Norway, and a non-executive director of the board of MHDP in Saudi Arabia. He has also served on the boards of many past Wood Group entities in the US and Canada. Mr. Lunde was also elected to the board for Members Choice Credit Union, a $100MM+ financial institution that is one of the most successful credit unions in Texas Mr. Lunde is a dynamic C-level executive who has consistently delivered breakthrough results in revenue, profitability, competitive positioning, employee engagement and customer satisfaction. Recognized as a transformational change agent adept at turning around underperforming businesses and delivering significant earnings growth, he has led multiple $100M+ domestic as well as international mergers and acquisitions. His strategic mindset and focus on people, passion, performance, and profits has allowed him to lead, advise and guide multiple management teams and their companies to market leading positions in their industry segments. He has been a chief executive for businesses ranging from $100MM with 500 staff up to $1.2B with more than 7,000 staff in 10 countries. Before founding Arion, Mr. Lunde held a variety of senior management positions with P&L responsibility for Wood Group (USA), Wood Group Mustang (Globally), Alliance Engineering (USA), FMC Corporation (USA), Kongsberg Offshore (Norway), Kongsberg Dresser Power (Norway), and was a co-founder of Instrument Technology Group in Oslo, Norway in 1991 (sold in 2002). He started his career as an officer and in the Royal Norwegian Air Force in 1979.
