Dr. Akhil Agarwal has extensive experience in Shell across various sectors, including P&T (5 years – DS/IG Focus), Downstream (3 years), and Upstream Deepwater (10 years). His diverse roles in various Oil and Gas assets have spanned R&D, SME, engineering management, operations management, major projects, start-up/commissioning, asset integrity, and joint ventures. Currently, Dr. Agarwal serves as the Technology Manager for the GoM Deepwater business. Dr. Agarwal has a proven track record of enhancing asset safety, reliability, and financial performance. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and has extensive expertise in multiphase flows, fluid dynamics, and thermal systems. His leadership and strategic vision have driven significant improvements and innovations in his field.
