Dick Westney has been part of the Houston offshore community for the past 40 years. Currently a director of R/MW Consulting, Inc., he was the founder of Westney Consulting Group which was ranked in the top tier of capital project advisors and acquired by McKinsey & Company in 2019.

Dick is the author of six books on project management – his latest, The ESG Planning Guide for Energy Projects, was published in 2023 – and has also served as visiting faculty at leading universities such as Texas A&M, Univ. of Texas, Stanford, Rice, the Norwegian University of Science & Technology, and Moscow School of Management.

A licensed professional engineer and project management professional, he is a graduate of The City University of New York, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Harvard Business School.
