Mitchell has 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and he has held a variety of facilities engineering and project management positions throughout his career, with multiple assignments in Louisiana, Texas, and California. Mitchell has extensive offshore and deepwater full-cycle delivery experience on major capital projects in the US Gulf of Mexico, Angola and Nigeria. Mitchell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1986.
