Marc is currently serving as Lead Mechanical Integrity supporting Oxy’s 10 deepwater Gulf of Mexico facilities. His work history includes nearly 17 years in the oil and gas industry, from roles of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), American Petroleum Institute (API) inspector, American Society for Nondestructive Testing Level III, and managed Asset Integrity programs for multiple inspection service providers. In 2018, Marc joined Anadarko’s Asset Integrity group to assist in program development and advise in inspection methodology. He has continued in this role into Oxy and continues to lend years of experience in fixed equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair to the mission of the Asset Integrity group.
Marc continues to be engaged in industry leadership through the American Petroleum Institute’s Individual Certification Program’s Governance Board, multiple API committees, Center for Offshore Safety (COS) Asset Integrity Committee Co-Chair, Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP, formerly NACE), and serves as the Upstream Non-Destructive Testing track lead for American Petroleum Institute’s Summit Committee.
Marc maintains many professional certifications, including API 510, API 570, API 571, API 580, NACE, as well as ASNT Level III Certifications for Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonics, and Visual examinations.
Outside of work, Marc enjoys coaching his sons’ little league baseball teams, archery hunting, and spending time with his wife and 3 children exploring exciting destinations.
