Jim Siercks is currently in the role of Surface Engineering Manager, International Operations for Woodside Energy. In this role, he is responsible for leading a team of multi discipline engineers that are supporting operated assets in the Gulf of Mexico. He is accountable for the development and delivery of engineering objectives aligned to the International Operations business strategy, and for providing Engineering support to the Operations teams to ensure the safe production of hydrocarbons. Jim has been in the industry ~17 years and with Woodside Energy, formerly BHP Petroleum, since 2012. He has held a variety of roles within Surface Engineering, Business Planning and Development Projects in support of both Onshore and Offshore assets.
Jim holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and being outdoors.
