Bio
Kurt has 34 years of Upstream Offshore experience in Projects and Operations. He started his career as a Unit Engineer in Coastal Louisiana fields modifying facilities and laying pipelines. He moved on to lead fixed platform Topsides Design & Construction projects for Main Pass 310 JA, Vermilion 200 A complex, Enchilada and Cinnamon platforms. He developed subsea knowledge as Topsides lead for the Conger Subsea tie back.

Moving into Deepwater, he then led the Shell operated Perdido Spar & Subsea development project as Topsides lead and close out Project Manager. Next was as the Cardamom Project manager (subsea tieback with brownfield expansion of Auger TLP) followed by Delivery Manager of Shell’s Topsides Project Engineering community. Currently he is the Project manager for the Vito Development (Subsea plus greenfield Semi host).

He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and attained the rank of RPP from the Association of Project Management in the U.K.
