Bio
LCDR David Newcomb currently serves as the Deputy Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection for the Outer Continental Shelf overseeing all Coast Guard Inspection and Investigation activities on facilities producing or drilling oil and gas. Prior to his position as Deputy OCMI, he has served as a Prevention officer at four operational Sectors (San Juan, Boston, and twice in New Orleans).

LCDR Newcomb earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2005, as well as a Master of Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the Mason School of Business at The College of William & Mary in 2010.
