Moises has 28 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He started his career as an Offshore Structural Engineer and has worked for Chevron for the last 20 years. He designed and participated in the fabrication and installation of several shallow and deep-water facilities for business units around the world, including five deep water Compliant Towers for the GOM and West Africa. For the last 10 years, Moises has been the General Manager of Chevron's corporate-wide Technical Center of Excellence for high-value Subsea, Civil, Structural and Marine Engineering, working in partnership with enterprise business stakeholders in all phases of asset life to provide integrated facilities engineering solutions and enabling technologies to achieve superior results. Moises holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ITESO in Guadalajara, Mexico and Master’s and PhD degrees in Civil/Structural Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
