Moises has 28 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. Moises holds a Master’s and PhD degrees in Civil/Structural Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
He started his career with McDermott Inc. as an Offshore Structural Engineer in 1995 and joined Chevron corporation in 2005.
Participated in the design, fabrication and installation of several shallow and deep water facilities around the world. Designed five deep water Compliant Towers for the GOM and West Africa. Completed the fabrication of the Top Tower Section of the Tombua Landana Compliant Tower in Houma, Louisiana in 2008.
In 2013, he took on the role of Manger of ETC’s Civil, Structural and Marine Engineering Unit (CSME). This Unit merged with the Subsea Unit (SCME) in January of 2018.

We work in partnership with enterprise business customers and stakeholders in all phases of asset life to provide integrated facilities engineering solutions and enabling technologies to achieve superior results.
Moises represents Chevron in Industry Standards committees and is the Convener of the Work Group in ISO that develops standards for Offshore Steel Structures.
