The Vito development has travelled through a world of low oil price, pandemic and global conflict from its original concept to its current design. The presentation is plans to focus on three aspects: 1. The Vito Journey; 2. Major learnings; and 3. Replication Opportunities. The Vito Journey includes a reset in the scope of the project early in Shell’s assessment phase, a revise resourcing and contracting strategy for the design, fabrication and installation of the host and its components, the pandemic journey and its current status. A few major learnings/ challenges will be shared along with a brief overview of the replication with upcoming projects will be described.
